OUR LOVE STORY

His Love Message...

I got to know Jac in 1999 during one of the youth camps in M'sia, my first impression of her was one of aloofness and unhelpful. However, after knowing her, my opinion towards her changed. She is actually a very fun and sporting girl. I thank God for giving me the patience to wait and ask her to be my girlfriend in His timing. If I had asked her a year earlier, her answer might not be the same & things might not have turned out to be what it is today. Hence, I really thank God for bringing her into my life. I promise that I will love her till the day we part.


Her Love Message...

Whenever my friends asked if it was possible for EW & I to get together, my immediate respond was "No Way! We were just good friends!". Until one fine day, I prayed and God revealed to me that EW is the one and I still doubted God, asking Him "God, are you sure??? You aren't kidding with me, are you?" Being one who wants the Best, defying God was definitely not what I would do. Therefore I am very grateful that I did not settle for the second best because I think only EW can take all my nonsense & unreasonable act in this world. Thank you for being so tolerant towards me!


Our Love Story...

We knew each other while serving the Lord in the Youth Ministry. Our favourite hang out place is Bukit Merah – McDonalds & Tiong Bahru Park. A place where we will meet almost everyday during exam period for revision & Eng Wee will join Jackie for a run whenever she feels unhealthy.

3 years ago, just a week before Eng Wee's b'day, Jackie asked him what he wants for his b'day present. After much hesitation & a moment of silence, Eng Wee replied "I would like you to be my gf & spend this year and subsequent years of b'days together with me." Too shock to respond, Jackie only told him "I need to pray about it and will let you know in 2 weeks time." Poor Eng Wee had to spend his b'day with friends watching movie.

That 2 weeks seemed like 2 years to Eng Wee. Finally that day came and Jackie arranged to meet EW @ TBP - Mac. As EW awaits for the answer nervously, Jackie just sat in front of him giving him a very serious look. And she said "Rejection words I've said a few times", then followed with a long pause... Having heard these words, EW was filled with disappointment and with sadness, he shook his head and responded "Ok, I understand!". Immediately, Jackie clarified and that was how our LOVE STORY began...
